You can find the bar keeper’s friend at most well-stocked grocery stores in the US, or you can get it from Amazon. In our testing, we discovered that the bar keeper’s friend works well enough, but you still have to do a lot of scrubbing.
We got this a liquid bar keeper’s friend from Amazon, and it came with this scouring scrubber. Scrubbing, that’s the keyword, if you want to spend less time scrubbing, for example, if you have the bottom of a pot or pan that is this filthy, you’re probably gonna want to use something even stronger. You can see the bottom of this frying pan, this is a stainless steel frying pan, by the way, has seen better days.
Now check this out, after we spray the cleaner on, we’re gonna let it sit for about 15 or 20 minutes. But if it’s extremely filthy like this one, you may want to let it sit longer. And you may have to do it twice. In the end, we found that the easiest thing to use to clean the bottom of pots and pans is easy off oven cleaner.
